After-School Folk Art

from $134.00

Ages 7 - 14 | 4 weeks | Instructor Lauren Becker Downey

In this 4-week after-school hands-on art class, your child will explore a variety of folk art projects from Native America, Mexico or the Pacific and Caribbean Islands. Lessons may include mask making, tapa cloth, weaving, mosaic, drawing or painting. Students will gain improved dexterity from the focus and calm achieved by making art.

$114 Bravo member / $132 non-member + $20 Supplies fee

Thursdays, May 2, 9, 16 & 23 from 4 - 5:30pm

Students must wear a mask. As long as Covid is present in our community and breakthrough infection for the vaccinated is a reality, and while strangers gather in our studio for more than a few minutes, masks will be a requirement. Bravo’s studio classroom is like my home and I want us all to be healthy. ~ Lauren Becker Downey

Class enrollment is limited to 4 - 6 people in each class. If your child and a friend want to attend and sit together in a class, but there is only one spot left, please email or call us to adjust the count so both can register. :)
