Custom Painted Kendama
Custom Painted Kendama
Instructor Tyler Caldwell
A Kendama is a Japanese wooden skill toy called “ball in cup". It is similar to a yo-yo but with a skill set of its own. The goal is to try to land the ball on one of the three cups or the spike on top. There are literally endless tricks and combinations which help build focus and hand-eye coordination that will grow forever. Design and paint the ball (Tama) with brushes and acrylic paint. With step-by-step guidance, learn essential painting techniques; from selecting the right paint to perfecting intricate designs. Great for kids and adults of any skill level. Anyone can paint their own beautiful one-of-a-kind Kendama. If time allows, learn basic Kendama tricks to show off to your family, friends, or coworkers and see if they can beat your score. All supplies will be provided.
